Many kids don't want to write, but we all know that every child deserves to know how to write.
Our kids have great ideas, yet they struggle with getting their ideas from their heads onto the paper. The Baran Method shows our kids where to write their wonderful ideas on the paper so that they can form an easy-to-follow structure that eliminates the often overwhelming frustration and confusion they experience. Instead of struggling with writing, our kids' confidence grows and they get an easy-to-repeat lifetime method for writing, no matter the subject.
Children love colors, and we use colors to help kids remember where their ideas belong on the paper. In The Baran Method, blue, green, and red makes it really easy for kids to recognize the pattern they will use when they write. In addition, using this structure of blue, green, and red makes teaching writing easy for parents and teachers so we can help our kids learn the pattern for successful lifetime writing.
The process for kids to learn how to become a confident writer couldn't be easier. Do writing exercises 1 - 6 in the handbook to learn the method, and then practice in one of our grade level workbooks. Each workbook is loaded with meaningful and useful readings, lots of interesting photos and artwork that add context, a long list of writing prompts, and fun color-coded activities to enhance reading interest and analytical skills.
